Introducing Christina:

The Visionary Leading Your Journey

One day, I thought my life was figured out… until it wasn’t.

It was a beautiful summer morning—the kind that feels full of light and promise. But everything changed in an instant. My world, once certain and planned, shattered.

The man I had built a life with—my then-husband—had walked out the day before. No conversation. No warning. Just gone. For him, it was over. Just like that. As casually as someone leaves a half-finished cup of coffee on the counter and walks away without a second thought.

I was blindsided.

The grief hit me like a tidal wave—raw, confusing, and relentless. My heart was splintered by the loss, the rejection, the sudden absence of the future I had envisioned. And then came the false hope. He hinted at reconciliation, dangling the possibility of “maybe,” only to pull it away again and again. I clung to that hope until it crushed me.

After two months of chasing something that wasn’t real anymore, it was truly over.

What remained was a version of me I barely recognized—paralyzed by emotional pain, stripped of identity, uncertain of my place in the world. I was going through the motions, but inside, I felt hollow and disconnected.

And then—something shifted.

In the thick of my grief, I typed “hardest hikes on the East Coast” into Google. I didn’t know what I was searching for—maybe a challenge big enough to match the pain I was carrying. I booked a plane ticket, rented a car, bought a sleeping bag, and flew to Maine. My destination: Baxter State Park and the Knife’s Edge trail to Mount Katahdin.

I had no flashlight. No fire starter. No plan. Just a heart full of pain and a stubborn will to move.

That night, I slept in the back of my rental car, shivering in 30-degree weather. But at dawn, I got up, laced my boots, and hit the trail.

That was the moment everything began to change.

Soon after, the world shut down with COVID-19. I left Virginia and began travel nursing—seeking healing and clarity in every new landscape. I hiked alpine ridges, climbed boulders, kayaked glacial lakes, paddle boarded at sunrise, and whitewater rafted through roaring rivers. Nature became my therapist. Movement became my medicine.

With every step, I began to remember who I was. Not who I had to be for anyone else—but the version of me that felt grounded, alive, and true.

Most of my adventures were solo. The silence gave me space to feel, to grieve, to grow. But eventually, I craved connection. I wanted to share this healing—this freedom—with other women who had walked through their own dark chapters.

And that’s when Summit You Wellness was born.

A space for women to come as they are—whether heartbroken, lost, or just searching for something more.

A place to heal in nature, to move your body, to breathe deeply, and to find joy again.

A community where you don’t have to carry it all alone anymore.

If you’ve ever felt like the life, you built has fallen apart...

If you're trying to rediscover who you are and what’s next...

If you're longing for meaning, friendship, and fresh air…

You’re in the right place.

Your mountain is waiting. And so are we.

Let’s summit—together.
